Overview of the Journey

The Lombok to Komodo boat trip usually lasts 4 days and 3 nights (4D3N). Start the tour at Bangsal Harbor in Lombok. You will sail east across the Flores Sea and finish your trip at Labuan Bajo in Flores.

You will sleep on the boat every night. During the day, the boat stops at beautiful uninhabited islands so you can hike and snorkel.

Day 01: Senggigi office – Kayangan harbor – Kanawa island

Shuttle pick up at Bangsal harbor, Mataram area, and Senggigi
Meeting point at Senggigi office ( free breakfast )
Transfer to Kayangan Harbor East Lombok at 11.00 AM, which takes 2.30 minutes to drive.
Lunch at the harbor
Prepare for the adventure by loading onto the boat
Sail to Kanawa Island for snorkeling or walking to the beach. ( Optional )
Night sail to Saleh Bay – Sleeping overnight
Dinner on the boat.

Day 02. Saleh Bay – Sail to Padar Island ( night sailing )

Saleh Bay, see and swim with whale sharks for 2 hours
Prepare to sail to Komodo Island after snorkeling with the Whale sharks
Breakfast on the boat
Night sail to Komodo National Park and visit Padar Island
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the boat.

Day 03. Padar Island – Pink Beach – Rinca Island / Komodo Island – Sunset at Kalong

I had a private lesson first and enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day with my 13-year-old son. Wayan arranged everything quickly and made the whole experience easy from start to finish. My instructor Wawan was fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and super friendly. He picked me up from the ferry port and even helped organize all my transportation during my stay. I stayed in a clean, comfortable room right next to the school with fast Wi-Fi and breakfast included at a small dining area just steps away — everything was easy and convenient. I also had access to a scooter, which made exploring the area simple. The surfing itself was phenomenal — great weather, fun waves, and stunning scenery. It was a 1:1 experience since I was the only student at the time, so I got plenty of personal attention and fast progress. There was even a surf photographer who joined us, which made for awesome memories to take home.
