Lombok island

Lombok Island is in the Lesser Sunda Islands archipelago, east of Bali and west of Sumbawa. Lombok is an island in Indonesia’s West Nusa Tenggara province.

Come by plane:

  • Fly to Lombok International Airport (LOP) in Tanah Awu, Central Lombok District
  • Take a direct flight from Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur
  • Airlines that fly to Lombok include Garuda, Lion Air, Silk Air, and Trans Nusa

Available by slow ferry:

  • Take a public ferry from Padang Bai in Bali to Lembar in Lombok
  • The ferry ride takes about 4–5 hours
  • You can bring your car or motorbike on the ferry

By fast boat:

  • Take a fast boat or catamaran from Bali’s Padang Bai or Serangan ports to Lombok’s main port, Lembar
  • Fast boats are the fastest way to get to Lombok from Bali and the Gili Island
