2 days Wae Rebo tour is a shared trip to visit Wae Rebo village. Wae Rebo village is one of the most beautiful villages in Indonesia. Situated at around 1,100 meters above sea level.  Approximately 3 – 4 hours travel by foot from Denge village.

The Wae Rebo tour lasts 2 days and 1 night, starting from Labuan Bajo Flores. We will pick you up from any hotel in Labuan Bajo from 07.30 to 8.30 am.

How many days should I spend in Labuan Bajo to join the Wae Rebo trip?

Please book two nights at a hotel in Labuan Bajo. The tour of Wae Rebo Village will start at 7:00 a.m. and return on the second day late evening. Staying one more night after the trip would be a good option.

Detailed itinerary of  2 days Wae Rebo Trip:

Day 01. Labuhan Bajo – Denge village – Wae Rebo village

  • 07.30 – 8.30. Pick up from the hotel
  • 09.00 am, reconfirmation at our representative office in Labuan Bajo.
  • 10.00 am, drive from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village for around 4- 5 hours.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant in Denge. Drive to Ojek station or the parking gate.
  • The trip will begin by riding a motorbike or Gojek to Pos 1 Wae Rebo, which takes a 15-minute ride.
  • From Pos 1, we will walk to Pos 4, which takes 45 minutes.
  • Pos 4 to Pos 7, walk about 60 minutes. From Pos 7 to Wae Rebo village, only 7 minutes left.
  • Welcoming ceremony in the chief’s house.
  • Continued by seeing and experiencing the local community’s everyday life.
  • Dinner and stay at Mbaru Niang ( Wae Rebo traditional circular cone-shaped houses with unique architecture).
  • Trekking will take 2-3 hours, depending on body endurance, from Denge to the top of Wae Rebo Village.

Day 02. Wae Rebo village – Labuhan Bajo

  • Breakfast with locals.
  • Sightseeing around the Village
  • Trekking down from Wae Rebo village to the parking gate for 2 hours.
  • Continue to Rapi beach, enjoy the beaches.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant near Rapi Beach.
  • Next visit is Lembor Spider web rice fields, about a 1 hour and 30 minute drive.
  • Drive back to Labuan Bajo for 2 hours.
  • Arrive at Labuan Bajo around 5-6 PM.
